To All of our Wonderful Clients at Mainland Veterinary Hospital,
We appreciate your patience and flexibility with our office procedures during this difficult and uncertain time of dealing with Covid 19. While we know that you are anxious to accompany your pets into the hospital for their exams, we will be continuing our curbside service for the unforeseeable future based on recommendations by the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs. While we understand this is not what pet owners are hoping for, our curbside service has allowed us to continue to care for your precious pets while keeping you and our staff safe.
We understand it is hot outside and we are doing our best to be as expedient as possible. However, what we do takes time. If an appointment takes longer than expected, there is a reason. While we also prefer to stay on time, we want to ensure that each and every patient receives the medical care and attention they deserve. We also understand that it has been difficult to get through on the phone lines since we are taking histories and discussing exam findings on the phone and we apologize for the inconvenience. We encourage you to take advantage of our Pet Desk App and ask that you leave a message when calling and allow our staff time to get back to you. Please schedule any recheck appointments at the time of your check out to ensure a timely recheck appointment.
We apologize for any inconvenience our current protocol is causing you. Our priorities and concerns remain with our pet patients, our dedicated staff and our caring pet owners. It is our hope that our curbside service will continue to keep everybody safe to the best of our ability, and enable us to continue to provide the same high level and loving care to your pets that we always have.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Sincerely, Dr Linda Schrading and Dr Mary Langford |
